We have been getting a lot of questions about suggested mounting points. The zero line on the sidewall is the suggested mark for all skis. Alpine mounts should use it as boot center and tele setups should consider it the ball center line. It is not the chord center of the ski but is a combination of the actual running length center and the sidecut center. For your reference I have included the measurements for all centerline marks. The measurements are based on following the curve of the ski.
MR 164 - 76 cm from the tail
MR 171 - 78.5cm from the tail
MR 179 - 84cm from the tail
District 176 - 81cm from the tail
District 187 - 82cm from the tail
Shoots - 82cm from the tail
Maven - 92 cm from the tail
As a reminder these are all suggested mounting points. If you have personal preferences on where you like to mount then you can use these as guidelines. My tele mounts are usally 3cm forward. Send us your feedback.
