mkrizan's picture

hey,

i'm kinda new to the whole twin tip thing...as you can guess from the subject topic, i love skiing moguls.  i have great skiis for moguls, that's not my issue, i know that twin tip skis are made for terrain parks.  what i want to know is if anyone knows which twin tips would function best on moguls if i've been in the park all day and then decide i want to take a couple runs down the bumps but don't want to go down to the lodge to change my skiis.  let me know please. thanks

Martin, I am probably not

Martin, I am probably not the best source for infomation on moguls, but from the small amount that I do know, I would reccoment the Bluehouse Misters (MR). They are the best option from Bluehouse for skiing the park and would probably work just as well in the bumps. However, please dont base any descisions on this post alone as I don't ski the bumps very often, limiting my knowledge on the subject.

I would say the MRs would be

I would say the MRs would be the best, but if you wanna mix of all, go with the Districts. I had some Gotamas ('05-'06)a few years back, the District are kinda based on the Gotamas. Some days I would like them on bumps, because they fats enough with less side cut that I could hit the right bump line with some fun, but I grew up in Vermont so I knew how to ski bumps fairly well. The district are find of the do everything ski from Bluehouse. I bought the Shoots, so those are my riding deep pow, huckin' cliffs & pointin' it skis.
