I'm not holding my breath, but could it be true that a new ski resort is going in near Logan, Utah?

I'm pretty sure this is a bad idea. I was excited at first thinking that the resort could potentially access some epic backcountry/slackcountry in the Naomi Wilderness, but it sounds like it's going to be pretty far from that elevation or area to feasibly get to. I'm thinking this is no good now. Sherwood Hills should try to get something going in the Wellsvilles- steepest mountain range in the country! I don't like the whole "all about the family" style, either. I'd rather see a bunch of rippin' skiers hanging out in a cabin drinkin' beer and sharing the stoke of the day. I think we need a community owned and operated ski area, where you have to work two or three days a week to get a pass. Also, no groomed runs, no terrain parks, no ski school. There could be guides and ski/avalanche gear rentals, a pub, and a ski patrol shack. Like Silverton, CO. That would be sick. Free your heel, not your wheel.
