I purchased a pair of Districts back in October and due to travel and conditions I had days 1 and 2 on my alpine boards last weekend. The timing was just right and I had one incredible day skiing the trees on the west side of Mt. Mansfield in VT. It snowed almost two feet of near powder (eastern powder). The skis were terrific. I was a little worried with it being my first days skiing all year with all new equipment, but I had one of the best ski days that I can remember and felt so in control. Day one even saw some scratchy conditions and I was really happy with how quickly I could get edge to edge even with the Dynafit Speed bindings putting me right on top of the ski. I'm skiing the 176cm and was able to feel totally confident in the trees on the powder day. I am planning on some days out in the Adirondacks this week and next and then I'm off to MT for some time at Bridger and Big Sky.
