Gotta ski it to believe it Review by Jrod
Love these skis! In fact they are two snowboards that float in less than 6 inches keeping you weightless. No more skiing the dust on crust these baby's love to float. Also they turn on a dime for tree skiing and maneuverability. One of the best skis on the marked, way too under rated. (Posted on 3/1/12)
these skis have been worth every penny Review by skimontana
I've been riding these for 2 years now, and they are amazing. While others are sinking and their legs are burning, thing things are floating and carving. 139mm enough said

Incredibly Fun Ski Review by 2ski4fun
I mounted the Mavens with a set of Marker Tour F10’s set at the factory recommended 844mm from the tail for powder performance and took them up to Mt. Baker this weekend for a test run. It took about three turns to get used to the 139mm underfoot, but after that I found that I could turn these quicker than my 178 Atomics. These skis perform exceptionally well in the powder and soft snow but were very surprising on the groomers, they have a very progressive flex that allows them to make nice round turns and are surprisingly fast from edge to edge. They actually make skiing the groomer’s fun, but performed even better the deep powder where they are very floaty and stable at high speeds. Even through the chopped up powder and bumps they remained stable and inspired confidence. I thought that “rockered” skis were just another sales gimmick, but after skiing them, I can honestly say the combination of width and rocker makes for one very fun platform. I can’t wait to get these out in the BC for some deep NW El Nino powder! (Posted on 12/21/10)
Mavens kick A$$!!! Review by cfeather
Rode the Mavens for the first time today in thigh high powder and they were nothing short of amazing. They skis did everthing i asked them to do and more. Even when everything was all skied out they still ripped up the crud. Best skies ive ever owned.. I can wait to get them into some mid-season chest deep pow. (Posted on 11/24/10)
Good pow ski Review by Todd
I have a buddy who has the '09 Mavens with the same BSL as myself, so days he did not use them, I rode them a little bit. They are a fun ski for blower pow, but ski quite different than my Shoots, maybe I was used to the stiffer ski. I feel they can be a tad soft for an everyday ski, but still great skis. If you ride a place like Alta/Snowbird they would be fine as an everyday ski. I ride JH, WY and the Maestro/Shoots quiver is better for here since it does not dump like LCC with that frequency, though it still does dump here quite bit.

I wanted an everyday pow ski, I got Maestros (the slimmed down/stiffer version of the Maven), If I wanna get another superfat for my quiver, this what I want to get.

When I skied this on storm/blower/hero pow days at AltaBird this ski was money. (Posted on 9/22/10)
