What is the MR?
The MR is the flagship of the Bluehouse fleet. Now entering it’s 4th season, the MR is tried, tested, and has proven to stand it’s ground in all terrain and conditions. The MR is an all-mountain, twin tip, freeride board that screams versatility and does as well in the air as it does on the snow. The MR also boasts a beautiful shape which allows it to hold edge throughout your entire series of carves.
Is the MR a Good Ski for Me?
Are you looking for an all mountain ski that can carve groomers, float powder, trek peaks or spin the latest trick? Have you had a hard time ditching your old pair of skinny skis but feel like its time to make the upgrade? The MR offers a lot of everything. It is for powder runs, groomers, tree skiing and park riders. Being light weight but still aggressive, it performs in the backcountry as well as it does in-bounds.
The MR ski is versatile enough to attract any skill level. Are you looking for your first upgrade to something with more width underfoot? At 93 mm in the middle of the ski, the MR is the perfect step up. Twenty years ago, 60-65 mm skis were the norm. Ten years ago, 93 mm was one of the fattest skis on the market. After 50 years of ski evolution, 90-100 mm underfoot width has become the typical width for an all-mountain ski.
Are you enjoying the park and half-pipe but love to get up to the upper mountain when the conditions permit? The MR is the ski. Are you gearing up for a ski vacation and considering a new pair of skis to accommodate the adventure? You cannot go wrong with the Bluehouse MR.
Anyone who’s looking to improve their style on the mountain should be checking out with a pair of the MR. If you’re like a lot of people and only want 1 ski to do it all, the MR is the one!

TESTIMONIALS
“I finally got rid of my old Salomon Force 9 skis and tried out the MR. This was definitely the best deal I’ve ever had on new skis and I’ve been skiing for almost 20 years. I didn’t have to spend a fortune and I got a ski that can seriously do it all. It’s also super fun. I love skiing trees, floating powder and letting them cruise on the packed runs.”
Mike Crandall, Denver Colorado
“I’ve been skiing all my life and this is the best all-mountain ski I’ve ever come across. I love the twin tip, the poppy flex, and I really love laying my edges into the machine worked snow. Carving on these bad boys is where it’s at. I just can’t believe I’ve paid so much for skis in the past.”
Phil Plumb, Vermont
“When I first saw the great prices at www.bluehouseskis.com, I had to ask myself why the skis were so cheap. I wondered if quality was an issue. After researching it, talking with other customers and talking to the owners, I learned that Bluehouse has a unique factory direct model. Bluehouse eliminates the middle men in the business making my skis that much more affordable. I was sold! I’ve been riding my MR’s for 3 seasons now and have thoroughly enjoyed them every minute. I love these skis in soft snow conditions. I ski them with a new confidence and I’ve been able to improve tremendously.”
