Woman’s Skis have taken off over the past few seasons: these are not just men’s skis with pretty pink flowers painted on them. What distinguishes a women’s ski from other skis? Generally, companies make them in shorter lengths with softer flexes and often a different mounting point, making the ski fit a women’s body. However, they don’t ignore the women who want a big ski so they can pass the guys on the hill (Bluehouse BCC). Women’s skis come in varieties ranging from carving skis all the way to powder skis. These days, most companies have a ski to suit a woman’s ski needs.
